CONTEXT:
Dreamville and Wilson acquired the rights for the Chi-Leauge basketball tournament hosted at Chicago State University. Basketball is my first passion and I was excited to work on a project involving hoops.
IDEA:
R20 pitched several in person activations. This included jersey designs, digital invites, custom court designs, and jerseys. As a member of the design team, I created court designs and mocked them up in Photoshop.
INSIGHT:
Dreamville and Wilson knew that being non-natives of Chicago meant that they would have introduced authentic elements to win over the Chicago hoop fans and revive the Chi-League. The clients came up with a theme of “Bonded by a Dream” and it was our responsibilty to bring this dream to life.
